Previously, he was with Rolls Royce plc, specializing in business affairs with the US Government and multinational collaborative projects. Mr. Nanra has extensive international experience in strategic corporate development at all levels of government and industry, as well as a demonstrated capability in general management. Mr. Nanra is also a director in several other companies including Medergy Inc. |  | Prof. Pramod Srivastava Director Professor Srivastava is Professor of Immunology, Physicians Health Services Chair in Cancer Immunology and the founding Director of the Cancer Center at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is the scientific founder and the Chief Scientific Officer of Antigenics, Inc. Professor Srivastava serves on the corporate boards of Antigenics, CambriaTech, and Ikonysis, and is an advisor/partner to the NewCoGen group. Professor Srivastava serves on the Scientific Advisory Council of the Cancer Research Institute(New York) and is a founding member of the Academy of Cancer Immunology. He has served in the past on the Experimental Immunology Study section of the NIH and grant review panel of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. He is on the editorial boards of Cancer Immunity, Cellular Immunology and Cell Stress & Chaperones. Professor Srivastava has been inducted into the Roll of Honor of the UICC (Union Internationale Contre le Cancer). Professor Srivastava's research has uncovered the crucial role of heat shock proteins in immune response and has lead to new approaches to immunotherapy of cancers and infections, which are presently being Andreaed. |  | Jonathan Sderstrom Director Dr. Jon Sderstrom is currently the Managing Director of the Office of Cooperative Research at Yale University. Since joining the Office in 1996, he has participated in the formation and operation of more than 25 professional venture capital-backed new businesses including polyGenomics, Molecular Staging, Agilix, Achillion Pharmaceuticals, PhytoCeutica and Protometrix. Collectively, these ventures have raised over $250 million. Prior to this position, Dr. Sderstrom was the Director of Program Development for Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) after serving for ten years as Director of Technology Licensing for Martin Marietta Energy Systems and ORNL. In the Office of Technology Transfer, he directed a group of ten professionals responsible for negotiating licenses and Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs). Dr. Sderstrom was a founding board member and past president of the Association of Federal Technology Transfer Executives as well as a member of the Licensing Executive Society and Association of University Technology Managers. He is frequently asked to lecture and teach seminars on various aspects of the technology process both within the United States and abroad. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Sderstrom was honored as the 87th "Point of Light" by President George H. W. Bush in March of 1990 for his volunteer activities helping to construct and rehabilitate low-income housing. | |
