 | <*dv_2*>Prof. Chris Amemiya Professor Chris Amemiya is Associate Member at Virginia Mason Research Center, Benaroya Research Institute, Seattle, Washington. Professor Amemiyas research has largely focused on studying the organization and regulation of the vertebrate genome, development of large-insert cloning systems, recombination-based modification of large inserts, vertebrate genome evolution and systematics. Professor Amemiya has been instrumental in developing genomic resources, particularly in the study of lower vertebrates including zebrafish. Professor Amemiya is providing AGS access to his vast experience on the construction and screening of genomic libraries and the development of recombination-based methods for capture and modification of large inserts. Professor Amemiya is assisting AGS in the comparative study of other vertebrates and in the development of the bioinformatics platform for AGS. |
